Golf can be a marvellous distraction. With the newspapers full of economic issues and poor weather reports - neither of which, I find, are particularly accurate - there's few better places to be than out on a beautiful golf course for a few hours, or on the practice range, learning and fine-tuning a new technique.

There's nothing wrong with doing a bit of what you most love, now and again. So, don't believe everything you read or hear in the ever-busy media, and give yourself some time to make new friends and enjoy this great sport.

For us, golf is a way of life and we like nothing more than to be with our guests both at home and abroad helping them to learn, improve and enjoy their golf.
